The Eight Ashtavinayak Temples
The Ashtavinayak are eight ancient temples of Lord Ganesha in Maharashtra. Tradition asks pilgrims to visit them in a sacred order and return to Moreshwar in Morgaon to complete the circle.

- Ballaleshwar — Pali. The only temple named after a devotee.
- Varadvinayak — Mahad. The boon-giving Ganapati in a green setting.
- Chintamani — Theur. The temple where worry is eased and wisdom restored.
- Girijatmaj — Lenyadri. A cave temple high on the hillside.
- Vigneshwar — Ozar. The radiant lord who removes obstacles.
- Mahaganapati — Ranjangaon. The mighty Ganapati invoked before great undertakings.
